Embody Health Centre is hiring! We are looking to hire an Office Manager for a 12-18 month contract, as well as a casual, part-time Administrative Assistant. See below for job descriptions and how to apply!

Embody Health Centre is looking for an eager and responsible candidate to cover a maternity leave position for our exceptional office manager. Start date of September 1st, 2021, with training prior. This contract position will be 12-18 months.

Embody Health Centre is a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic that offers Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Dietetics, Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Thai Yoga Massage and Yoga Therapy. We believe that using a comprehensive approach to health and wellness is the key to helping our clients rebuild, rebalance, and restore their bodies and ultimately, helping them live their best life. Our mission is to help people identify and improve the connection between health, happiness, and physical well-being.

The position would be a full-time position. Monday to Thursday 9 am to 4:30 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 3 pm (hours are subject to change based on the needs of the clinicians).

The job duties are as follows, but not limited to:

  • answering phone calls

  • monitoring clinic emails

  • managing administrative assistant

  • handling insurance claims for patients

  • processing payments and handling accounts receivable

  • maintaining clinic cleanliness and keeping up with all necessary COVID-19 protocols

  • laundry

  • monitoring and managing clinicians schedules

  • monitoring clinic supplies

  • Motor Vehicle Accident claims

  • social media preparation and posts

  • running errands for clinic and clinic owner when needed

We are also seeking a part-time, casual office receptionist/administrative assistant. The position will involve assisting the office Manager in organizing schedules of several health care practitioners. It will also involve booking appointments, taking payment and direct billing for insurance. Cleaning, laundry, purchasing, inventory, emails and phone calls.

This position requires a positive, knowledgeable person who is capable of handling a high volume of telephone inquiries and patient visits. This environment also requires multi-tasking, communication and follow up with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Out-going, positive personality.

• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to details.

• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and learn quickly.

• Back ground in health studies, or kinesiology an asset but not required
